4 Wheeling with my neighbor Dan

When times are slow its important to try new things. One day when my mom wasn't looking, my neighbor Dan taught me how to 4 wheel.

Ok, so maybe we only sat in a four wheeler but it was a lot of fun seeing how everything worked.

Eat Well and Grow Strong

Most nutritional experts agree, if you want to grow up healthy and strong, make sure you have a well rounded diet. I agree and think that ice cream and french fries are about as well rounded as you can get. Even if you end up putting the french fry up your nose.

Super Bowl 2011

I spent the weekend in Layton, at Grandma and Grandpa house. It was super bowl weekend so I came dressed for the occasion. The only problem is grandpa really likes the Pittsburg Steelers. It's not my fault that the Green Bay Packers won 31-25.

Scenes of Christmas 2010

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
As little Roman sat with the penguins his butt being bare.

Roman's 1st Birthday

December 14, 2010. Roman Atticus Padilla is officially one year old. It's been a busy, crazy, exciting, fun year. I got to have a couple of birthday parties and both of them were awesome. The pictures here are from Grandma Pat's house.

One of the best parts of my birthday was opening gifts. The only problem was that since I couldn't read yet, I had to let my mom read the cards, and she wanted to read every word. So I had to wait forever to open each gift. Next year no cards. Even though she took forever reading, it was so cool to have her help.

Finally, she finished reading the card and I got to open my first gift, which was a cool truck I could ride around on. My Great- Grandma and Grandpa Knowles gave it to me.

It was a lot of fun to be able to hang out with all those people who came to my birthday party. Of course the most important part was being around family and friends, but the gifts were very nice to.

Lets not forget how much fun it is to have birthday cake. First we had to have a picture with me, my mom and grandma. As you can see from the picture below they were taking to much time so I tried to dive right into my cake.

The gifts are opened, thank you hugs are given. I have posed for all the pictures so let the real party begin.

Getting ready for Christmas

Christmas is almost here and I can't wait for Santa to come. I have been on my best behavior hoping the big guy will know that I should be on his nice list.
I have decided that I should do all I can to show him how nice I am. I put on my moose sweater, because its the closest thing I have to something that looks like a reindeer. I pulled the chair in front of the Christmas Tree so Santa would know that I have the Christmas spirit, I am even holding my reindeer toy.

If for some reason Santa cant make it through the fog, I could even help Rudolph get him here. That would be awesome.

I know that it will be very exciting on Christmas morning, I can't wait. The only problem is that I am going to be very tired waiting for it to come.

Me and Santa 2010

I went to the Layton Hills Mall to visit Santa and tell him my wish list.

Me and Mom Fall 2010

Nothing says fall like the colorful leaves all over the ground. I am almost one now so its fun to learn new things, like how to play in the leaves, luckily Mom is teaching me a lot.

The Lion King

Life on the Serenguiti can be a hard life, even for the King of Beasts. In bad times I can even be forced to eating leaves.
Overwhelmed by the hunger, I announce to the world, I can't take it anymore, I need food. I let out a mighty roar.

But where do I begin, I may not be ready for what lies ahead.

I set out on my journey. I know I need food to grow strong. I dont know where this journey will take me.
I put my nose to the ground, I smell it, I know my prey is close. The mighty beast pushes on.

Never stopping, no matter what gets in my way, I must push on. I will be successful, I will get my prey.

I can smell it, I know my dinner is just ahead. I've done it, I've conquered the Serengueti.

I've got my prey, I reign supreme.

My favorite toy at Grandma's house

Whenever I go visit my Grandma Pat's house there are always lots of things to play with. There is one thing that I like to play with the most, and its not even a toy. Whenever I get to her house I crawl right to the Lazy-boy chair and start taking it apart. Before long I have disassembled the control arm that helps the chair recline. There is nothing funner than pushing it all over the floor.

My first haircut

I got my first haircut from my Aunt Whitney. She did an incredible job and made me look as handsome as ever.

Thanksgiving at Grandma Alice's house

After we had our Thanksgiving dinner in American Fork, we went to Ogden to hang out and Grandma Alice's house. We had lots of fun playing games and visiting with friends and family. I finally got to meet another new cousin, Hank from Montana. He was pretty fun to hang out with.

I also found the time to master one of life's most important things, the High 5.
Thanks to the fine tutoring of my mom's cousin Chad, I am starting to get very good at it.

Friday morning we got up early for another family tradition, getting the Christmas Tree. It was cold but fun and we ended up with a nice tree.

Halloween 2010

Last night was my first ever Halloween. I got all dressed up and partied. First, I spent the day in Layton, with Grandma and Grandpa. When it got to be time to go Trick or Treating I got on my lion costume and went to surprise my mom at work. I even got to go dancing with my mom.

After all the dancing this Lion was very hungry. Its hard being the King of the Beasts. What do most hungry Lions eat..... Ribs of course. After a hard day and a full meal, this Lion was ready for a long rest.
