Roman's 1st Birthday
December 14, 2010. Roman Atticus Padilla is officially one year old. It's been a busy, crazy, exciting, fun year. I got to have a couple of birthday parties and both of them were awesome. The pictures here are from Grandma Pat's house.
One of the best parts of my birthday was opening gifts. The only problem was that since I couldn't read yet, I had to let my mom read the cards, and she wanted to read every word. So I had to wait forever to open each gift. Next year no cards. Even though she took forever reading, it was so cool to have her help.
Finally, she finished reading the card and I got to open my first gift, which was a cool truck I could ride around on. My Great- Grandma and Grandpa Knowles gave it to me.
It was a lot of fun to be able to hang out with all those people who came to my birthday party. Of course the most important part was being around family and friends, but the gifts were very nice to.
Lets not forget how much fun it is to have birthday cake. First we had to have a picture with me, my mom and grandma. As you can see from the picture below they were taking to much time so I tried to dive right into my cake.
Getting ready for Christmas
I have decided that I should do all I can to show him how nice I am. I put on my moose sweater, because its the closest thing I have to something that looks like a reindeer. I pulled the chair in front of the Christmas Tree so Santa would know that I have the Christmas spirit, I am even holding my reindeer toy.
If for some reason Santa cant make it through the fog, I could even help Rudolph get him here. That would be awesome.
I know that it will be very exciting on Christmas morning, I can't wait. The only problem is that I am going to be very tired waiting for it to come.

The Lion King
Life on the Serenguiti can be a hard life, even for the King of Beasts. In bad times I can even be forced to eating leaves.
Overwhelmed by the hunger, I announce to the world, I can't take it anymore, I need food. I let out a mighty roar.Sunday, December 5, 2010
My favorite toy at Grandma's house
Whenever I go visit my Grandma Pat's house there are always lots of things to play with. There is one thing that I like to play with the most, and its not even a toy.
Whenever I get to her house I crawl right to the Lazy-boy chair and start taking it apart. Before long I have disassembled the control arm that helps the chair recline. There is nothing funner than pushing it all over the floor.
My first haircut
Thanksgiving at Grandma Alice's house
After we had our Thanksgiving dinner in American Fork, we went to Ogden to hang out and Grandma Alice's house. We had lots of fun playing games and visiting with friends and family. I finally got to meet another new cousin, Hank from Montana. He was pretty fun to hang out with.
I also found the time to master one of life's most important things, the High 5.
Thanks to the fine tutoring of my mom's cousin Chad, I am starting to get very good at it.

Friday morning we got up early for another family tradition, getting the Christmas Tree. It was cold but fun and we ended up with a nice tree.
