Utah Symphony and the Music of the Eagles at Deer Valley

Some of the family went to Deer Valley Resort to hear the music of the Eagles with the Utah Symphony Orchestra. It was a lot of fun. I was there with my mom, Grandma Pat and Grandpa Todd and my aunt and uncle, Whitney and Peter Alger and my Aunt Megan Knowles. Uncle Pete(and his iPhone 4) captured this video of me enjoying the show.

Making Cookies

I firmly believe that if you are going to do something you should give it your full effort. That includes making cookies with Grandma Pat and of course the cleaning up afterwards.

Clean up can be hard work, but someone must do it.

Lagoon over the 4th of July

Over the weekend of the Fourth of July we celebrated my Aunt Lynae's 20Th Birthday. What better way to celebrate her leaving her teen years than hanging out at Lagoon. It was a busy time. First I had to captain a boat.

Then after safely guiding the ship to port I had to save everyone from the wild Bulgy the Whale. I jumped on and kept it under control. You'll noticed the guy in front of me screaming his head off, while I keep wondering why can't it go faster.

It was a great day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAENAE.

More Lagoon fun

I was able to ride a zebra, not something you find in Utah very often. While I was sitting on the Merry-Go-Round grandpa would put his arm around me to keep me from falling, I am to old for this so I would push his arm out of the way.

Playing in the fountains was a blast.

I Like My Ice

Just like my mom, I love to suck on ice cubes. Sometimes I forget how cold my mouth gets. This is the before and after of enjoying an ice cube.

Its gotten to the point in my life where on occasion I must slip into disguise to avoid being recognized. This is one of my favorites.

I guess now the secrets out I may have to find a new one.

4 Wheeling with my neighbor Dan

When times are slow its important to try new things. One day when my mom wasn't looking, my neighbor Dan taught me how to 4 wheel.

Ok, so maybe we only sat in a four wheeler but it was a lot of fun seeing how everything worked.

Eat Well and Grow Strong

Most nutritional experts agree, if you want to grow up healthy and strong, make sure you have a well rounded diet. I agree and think that ice cream and french fries are about as well rounded as you can get. Even if you end up putting the french fry up your nose.

Baby for Sale

Believe it or not on occasion I can be a stinker, which sometimes causes my mom to take drastic actions.

Super Bowl 2011

I spent the weekend in Layton, at Grandma and Grandpa house. It was super bowl weekend so I came dressed for the occasion. The only problem is grandpa really likes the Pittsburg Steelers. It's not my fault that the Green Bay Packers won 31-25.

Roman's 1st Birthday

December 14, 2010. Roman Atticus Padilla is officially one year old. It's been a busy, crazy, exciting, fun year. I got to have a couple of birthday parties and both of them were awesome. The pictures here are from Grandma Pat's house.

One of the best parts of my birthday was opening gifts. The only problem was that since I couldn't read yet, I had to let my mom read the cards, and she wanted to read every word. So I had to wait forever to open each gift. Next year no cards. Even though she took forever reading, it was so cool to have her help.

Finally, she finished reading the card and I got to open my first gift, which was a cool truck I could ride around on. My Great- Grandma and Grandpa Knowles gave it to me.

It was a lot of fun to be able to hang out with all those people who came to my birthday party. Of course the most important part was being around family and friends, but the gifts were very nice to.

Lets not forget how much fun it is to have birthday cake. First we had to have a picture with me, my mom and grandma. As you can see from the picture below they were taking to much time so I tried to dive right into my cake.

The gifts are opened, thank you hugs are given. I have posed for all the pictures so let the real party begin.
